| Hedi Xandt is an artist and freelance illustrator from Germany. Born 1988, he is a child of the 20th century, using both digital and traditional means to create his artwork. Besides that, he has a strong interest in analogue photography and shares the opinion that traditional techniques generate a unique atmosphere, which cannot be imitated by any digital means. Bringing the virtual and real world together on one "canvas", whatever media that may be, Xandt's artwork is fresh, surprising and deep. The artist is currently studying Communications Design at the Mathildenhoehe, Darmstadt. Previously, he's been travelling the world, working with many different artists to educate himself. Stations of these journeys were the USA, England, Hamburg and Berlin in Germany as well as Prague, Moscow and Paris. |
